Statement of Paul J. Diaz President and CEO, Kindred Healthcare Inc. Committee
on Senate Finance April 21, 2009 Kindred Healthcare is pleased to submit
these comments in advance of the Senate Finance Committee`s Roundtable
on April 21, 2009. As the nation`s largest provider of post-acute care,
Kindred is honored to participate in the Roundtable on delivery system
reform. We commend the Chairman, the Ranking Member and the entire Committee
for soliciting the input of various stakeholders as Congress considers
