Chemicals Inc. Committee on House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Commerce,
Trade, and Consumer Protection May 12, 2009 Introduction Mr. Chairman and
Members of the Subcommittee: ASHTA Chemicals appreciates the opportunity
to testify before you concerning the Mercury Pollution Reduction Act of
2009 (H. R. 2065) and the Mercury Pollution Reduction Act of 2009 (H. R.
2190). These two bills are duplicative in many respects and may be referred
to collectively as ``the bill`` in this testimony. This testimony is being
