ChinaCoal Teams Up with Yanchang Petroleum, Thai Partner

XI'AN, May 13, 2009 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) -- Leading coal producer China National Coal Group Corporation (ChinaCoal) will join hands with domestic regional oil titan Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum (Group) Co., Ltd. and a Thai new energy company in the construction of a energy chemical project.

Recently, the three parties have signed contracts in Xi'an, the capital city of the northwestern Chinese province of Shaanxi, upon their cooperation in the Shaanxi-based project, according to China's Ministry of Commerce.

ChinaCoal will obtain a stake of 30 percent in the project, which is expected to ...
