ChinaCoal to Build Chemical Base with Thai Partner

XI'AN, May 13, 2009 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) -- China National Coal Group Corporation (ChinaCoal), Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum (Group) Co., Ltd., and a Thai new energy company will jointly build an energy chemical project in the northwestern province of Shaanxi with a total investment of CNY 40 billion.

The Three sides have just signed related cooperation contracts in Xi'an, the capital city of the province. Shaanxi-based regional oil giant Yanchang Petroleum will control 40% of the project, and Chinese coal titan ChinaCoal and the Thai new energy company will own 30% each.
