Fed: Senate not rubber stamp: Brown

CANBERRA, May 13 AAP - Australian Greens leader Bob Brown has reminded the prime minister
the Senate is not a rubber stamp for his government's second budget.

Kevin Rudd has called on the Senate to pass the budget in its entirety, but Senator
Brown says improvements could be made.

"We're not just a rubber stamp, we have something to give. The treasurer's not perfect
and this budget is not perfect," he told reporters.
