China to Remove Ban on CNY161.8bn Shares
SHANGHAI, May 27, 2009 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) -- China will remove ban on CNY 161.8 billion shares in June 2009, down CNY 98.2 billion or 37.77 percent, than that in May.
It is the first time for the amount to be below CNY 200 billion in straight four months. Of the alleged restricted shares, 105 listed companies' non-tradable shares amount to CNY 124.3 billion, a decrease of CNY 124.4 billion, or 50.02 percent, compared to the CNY 248.7 billion in May.
