SHARE prices on Bursa Malaysia rebounded in earnest in unison with the rebounds on the regional stock markets yesterday. Its overall advancing counters outpaced its declining counters by 424 to 235.

The Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (KLCI) opened higher at 1,047.62 before hitting its intra-day high of 1,063.79 yesterday. It eased back marginally to close at 1,061.80 points, posting a day-on-day gain of 17.69 points, or 1.69 per cent.
