Kenneth Cornetta, M.D., has been named President of the American Society of Gene and Cell Therapy (ASGCT).

The announcement was made at the Society's Annual Meeting last week in San Diego. Dr. Cornetta is Co-Founder and Member of the Scientific Advisory Board at Rimedion Inc. gene therapy drug development firm and also serves as Chair of the Medical and Molecular Genetics Department at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis.
