Gulf Petroleum to appoint 2 new directors

GULF Petroleum (M) Sdn Bhd, which has secured approval to develop an integrated oil and gas complex in Malaysia, will appoint two new directors to its board.
The new board members are Dr Omar Zuhair Abdulgader Hafiz from Saudi Arabia and Dr Haitham Isa Abdulrazaq Qasim Al-Qahtani from Bahrain, the company said in a statement.
Omar has served various reputable Islamic financial institutions in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, including director of Islamic Banks' Office at the Islamic Development Bank (IDB).
