Better Q1 results boost Allianz growth prospects

ALLIANZ Malaysia Bhd is confident of growth in 2009 based on encouraging results from the first three months of this year, its top official says.
"Our first quarter was in line with our plan. We managed to outperform the first quarter of the previous year significantly.
"So we are overall very confident that this year is going to be in line with that experience," said its chief executive officer Alexander Ankel.
