KEE Lian Yong, a chartered accountant by training, is tipped to be the new general manager (GM) of Port Klang Authority (PKA), the regulator of Northport and Westports and owner of the Port Klang Free Zone (PKFZ).

He replaces Lim Thean Shiang, who resigned last month amid reports of a fallout with Transport Minister Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat over the handling of the PKFZ controversy.
Kee will also be appointed as non-executive director of Port Klang Free Zone Sdn Bhd, the manager and marketer of the free zone.
