Shareholders OK Tangshan Iron & Steel to Merge Siblings

TANGSHAN, Jun 29, 2009 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) -- Hebei Iron & Steel Group (HBIS), the new steel conglomerate formed in Hebei Province, is glad to see the shareholders of its three listed subsidiaries agree the proposed merger plan.

Tangshan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. (TIS, SZSE: 000709), Handan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. (SHSE: 600001) and Chengde Xinxin Vanadium & Titanium Co., Ltd. (SHSE: 6000357) hailed high support rates at their shareholders meetings, respectively.
