US to Abolish Anti-dumping Duties on China CRT TVs

BEIJING, Jul 06, 2009 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) -- The United States International Trade Commission (USITC) recently announced that the Department of Commerce is to abolish anti-dumping duties on China-made CRT TVs above 20 inch before July 30, 2009.

However, the measure will be meaningless because CRT TVs are nearly out of the country while flat-panel TVs dominates the US market at the moment, noted industry watchers. Chinese TV makers also cast their eyes on flat-panel TVs and export less CRT TVs.
