Locomotive Giants Fight for EMU Cake
BEIJING, Jul 07, 2009 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) -- Entrusted by the Ministry of Railways (MOR), China International Tendering Company has earlier released an announcement about the second round of bidding invitation for the procurement of electric multiple units (EMU).
The announcement says that the railway authority will procure 320 EMUs with a speed of 350 kilometers per hour in the form of public bidding, including 200 16-carriage EMUs and 100 eight-carriage EMUs.
