Base: American League lifts unbeaten All-Star run to 13 years

ST LOUIS, Missouri, July 14 AFP - Curtis Granderson tripled and scored on a sacrifice
fly in the eighth inning on Tuesday as the American League beat the National League 4-3
in the 80th Major League Baseball All-Star Game.

The American League stars stretched their undefeated run to 12-0 with one drawn over
the National League, which last won in 1996, and won the AL champion club the home-field
advantage in October's World Series.
