DARWIN, July 17 AAP - An air force corporal, who made sexually lewd comments and "growled
like a dog" before biting off another serviceman's ear, has been sentenced to home detention.
Robert Andrew James Samara, 43, pleaded guilty to unlawfully causing serious harm over
the drunken attack at a Christmas Party at the Tindal RAAF Base on December 6 last year.
In the Northern Territory Supreme Court in Darwin last week, Chief Justice Brian Martin
said Samara approached Matthew Proctor, 18, and started talking about anal sex and mimicking
