Statement of Kevin Brady Representative United States Committee on Committee
on House Ways and Means Subcommittee on Select Revenue Measures July 23,
2009 Chairman Neal, Ranking Member Tiberi, and Members of the Sub- Committee,
I thank you today for the opportunity to sit on the other side of the dias,
and testify on behalf of an issue of critical importance to our nation:
transportation policy reform. While the Committee on Transportation and
Infrastructure has the responsibility to create our transportation policy,
the Committee on Ways and Means is charged with designing financing structures
