Bright Food (Group) Bought 314mn Bright Dairy & Food Shares

BEIJING, Jul 28, 2009 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) -- Bright Food (Group) Co., Ltd. disclosed on July 27, 2009 that it was to spend CNY 1.55 billion in total or CNY 4.93 a share purchasing 314 million shares in Shanghai-listed Bright Dairy & Food Co., Ltd. (SHSE: 600597) that were sold by a subsidiary under the wing of Limited via capital market.

After the share purchase, the buyer would hold a total of a 30.176% stake in the Shanghai-listed company directly and a 65.448% Bright Dairy & Food stake with its controlling subsidiary Dairy Group.
