TCL Chengdu LCD TV Factory Starts Running

BEIJING, Jul 30, 2009 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) -- Chinese TV maker TCL Corporation (SZSE: 000100) saw its two LCD TV production lines make sail in the western Chinese city of Chengdu on July 29, 2009, citing a report.

Involving a first-phase investment of CNY 50 million to CNY 60 million in total, the production lines are capable of putting out 5,000 LCD TVs a day, with the size of its main products ranging from 32 inches to 42 inches. Besides, they will also produce a small number of 22-inch, 26-inch, and 46-inch TVs.

In the second half of 2009, the production lines are expected to roll off 300,000 TVs, ...
