Cyc: Tour stage winner suspended for earlier positive test
The International Cycling Union has suspended Tour de France stage winner MIKEL ASTARLOZA
for doping.
ASTARLOZA won the 16th stage of the Tour on July 21.
The 29-year Spaniard tested positive for the endurance-booster EPO in an out-of-competition
control on June 26, eight days before the Tour began.
The UCI has provisionally banned ASTARLOZA from racing until the Spanish cycling federation
