NIPPON Paint (M) Sdn Bhd expects its three new exterior paint products to generate RM50 million in sales, bringing total sales for the year to RM450 million, says its top executive.
Nippon Paint, a unit of Asia's largest paint manufacturer Nippon Japan, managed to capture RM400 million in sales, or 50 million litres of paint, last year.
"Since the launch of the new products in early July, we have received orders of up to 130,000 five-litre cans," Nippon Paint managing director Yaw Seng Heng told Business Times recently.
