SHARE prices on Bursa Malaysia once again consolidated recent gains yesterday, trading within a tight range for the major part of the trading session. Overall advancing counters outnumbered declining counters by 319 to 310.

The FTSE Bursa Malaysia Composite Index (FBM KLCI) fell from its intra-day high of 1,177.64 points to intra-day low of 1,164.36 yesterday. It closed at 1,171.31 points, giving a day-on-day loss of 3.59 points, or 0.31 per cent.
