At Banas Bakery, butter cookies line the top of the counter, yet they arent the main event. Leave that to a series of Polish layer cakes in hues spanning the rainbow. The Wallington bakery specializes in the light and fruity summer delicacies. Some are topped with translucent red gel lines. Another, smietanowiec, uses both sour cream and jellies. The most colorful is made of white marshmallow and sprinkled with fanciful red, orange and green gels atop a layer of mousse.
