August 4, 2009 Washington, D.C. - U.S. Senator Susan Collins, a member
of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that she has successfully
secured $4.39 million in agriculture funding for projects in Maine. The
funds are included in the fiscal year 2010 Agriculture Appropriations spending
bill which was approved late today by the U.S. Senate by a vote of 80-17.
