NSW: Man suffers severe smoke inhalation in boarding house fire

SYDNEY, Aug 7 AAP - A man has suffered severe smoke inhalation during a fire at a boarding
house south of Sydney.

Police and emergency services were called to the boarding house on Kembla Street, Port
Kembla, at about 11.50pm (AEST) on Thursday, after a fire broke out in one of the rooms.

Eight occupants were evacuated after fire alarms went off.
