PRANDA Jewelry Plc, one of the largest local jewellery manufacturers
and exporters, plans to offer a minority stake to foreign investors and
consolidate its local business by cutting unprofitable business units,
said chairman Preeda Tiasuwan.
Preeda said the company is negotiating with foreign investors
interested in acquiring a stake in Pranda Jewelry. The group requires new
capital from a joint venture to expand its retail and wholesale outlets
in markets such as Asia and the Middle East.
