This, coupled with a two-pronged approach of rewarding its distributors as well as enticing end-users, Avon expects to buck the overall 2009 retail industry performance and posts growth this year.
The local retail industry is expected to contract in 2009 for the first time since the 1997/1998 financial crisis. However, Avon is expecting a single-digit revenue growth.
