Kailuan, Beiran to Create Biggest Coal Chemical Firm

TANGSHAN, Aug 10, 2009 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) -- Kailuan Group and Beijing Beiran Enterprises Co., Ltd. have just signed an agreement about their strategic cooperation in the Jingtang Port, Tangshan, north China.

A subsidiary of Kailuan Clean Coal Co., Ltd. (SHSE: 600997), the listed arm of Kailuan Group, and an affiliate of Beijing Beiran under the wing of Beijing Enterprises Group Co., Ltd. will be integrated into the biggest independent coal chemical company across China. The Shanghai-listed company will hold a 51 percent stake in the newborn.
