KOTA BARU: The RM130,000 bungalow in Taman Kurnia Jaya is a far cry from the cramped dilapidated house rented by the family of last year's top student in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) Nik Nur Madihah Nik Mohd Kama, in Kampung Parang Puting, Pengkalan Chepa.

She received the keys to the new house from state executive councillor Datuk Nik Amar Abdullah in the presence of her proud parents Nik Mohd Kamal Husin, a fisherman, and Mariani Omar yesterday.
