SELANGOR FA has assured fans that the Sultan of Selangor's Cup will not hamper the team's Malaysia Cup campaign.

The annual exhibition match against a Singapore Selection has been scheduled for Oct 4, in the midst of Selangor's Malaysia Cup Group D preliminary round matches.
Selangor FA general secretary Hamidin Amin said they have sent a request to the FA of Malaysia to bring forward their Oct 3 Malaysia Cup match to a day earlier to accommodate the Sultan of Selangor's Cup at the Jalan Besar Stadium in Singapore.
