CAN the `professor' come out with a brilliant strategy for Johor in the Malaysia Cup campaign?

Nasir Yusof was nicknamed 'professor' by former Johor coach Michael Urukalo for his intelligent midfield play that helped Johor to two Malaysia Cup titles in 1985 and 1991.
Now, the 48-year-old coaches Johor and he hopes to end the state's s 18-year Malaysia Cup drought.

One of his strategies to inspire his players is, surprisingly, not training daily.

Nasir, instead, has opted to spend a good 15 minutes before training to remind his players ...
