NIPPON Paint Co Ltd of Japan, the largest paint manufacturer in Asia, expects revenue contribution from its operations in Pakistan to overtake Malaysia in five to eight years as the Malaysian market reaches saturation point.
"Revenue (contribution) from our venture in Pakistan is now less than 10 per cent (to the group's overall revenues), but it is expected to be bigger than Malaysia's in five to eight years," Nippon Paint (M) Sdn Bhd managing director Yaw Seng Heng told Business Times recently.
