THE current global economic crisis has not and is not expected to have a major impact on passenger spending at duty free outlets at the low-cost carrier terminal (LCCT).

In fact, Malaysia Airports (Niaga) Sdn Bhd (Eraman) expects retail spending to increase at duty free outlets at the LCCT.
Travellers from China and India - the two economies that are still growing when other economies are contracting - are anticipated to drive the spending momentum this year.
