Volkswagen China Arm Start Early Warning on DSG

CHANGCHUN, Sep 03, 2009 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) -- FAW-VW Automobile Co., Ltd. has started an early-warning mechanism on its Magotan-branded sedans equipped with DSG transmissions, said an executive with the China-based arm of Volkswagen AG (ETR: VOW).

Upon many Chinese Magotan owners' online and phone call complaints, a certain number of DSG dual clutch transmissions were often forced to suspend working due to the matching temperature sensors' errors in reading information.
