G20 Swan (LONDON)
Treasurer WAYNE SWAN says the RUDD government's economic stimulus strategy has been
backed by the top 20 industrialised and developing nations .. who've renewed their vow
to continue boosting the global economy despite signs of a recovery.
Speaking after the G20 finance ministers' meeting in London .. Mr SWAN's said the opposition's
calls to rein in stimulus spending are out of touch.
He says the coalition doesn't understand the nature of the global recession .. or its
impact on Australian households.
