California Pharmacists Association Collaborates with FEMA

As a member of FEMA's National Preparedness Month Coalition, the California Pharmacists Association reported that it is helping to coordinate efforts of pharmacies throughout the state in promoting the Ready America message to: get a kit, make a plan, be informed and get involved.
In a release, the group noted that pharmacists and pharmacies will be positioned at the center of the H1N1 crisis that is expected this fall and are swiftly preparing to participate in state-wide vaccinations and dissemination of information.
