BEING educated and determined, Tan Sri Ariffin Yusuf treaded the fields of the private sector while hoping to land a position in the banking industry.
Having graduated with a Diploma in Banking from Universiti Teknologi MARA (known as MARA Institute of Technology during his time) in 1972, he was chosen to pursue a course in banking in Karachi, Pakistan, before joining a private food and ration supply company as a temporary staff in Kuala Lumpur.
