THERE is a flu pandemic out there. The current one is called influenza A that is caused by the H1N1 virus. It is not the first pandemic and it certainly will not be the last. You have heard of the many reincarnations of the flu before. Avian flu, Asian flu, SARS and the list goes on. There will be more to come as the versatile virus mutates and even manages to cross species, from animal to human. The situation is getting more troubling.
