AEON Credit Q2 net profit increases 18.5pc

AEON Credit Service (M) Bhd posted a 18.5 per cent increase in its second-quarter net profit, helped by its promotional activities and growth in consumer financing receivables and the number of credit cards issued.

Net profit rose to RM13.49 million, while revenue grew 16.7 per cent to RM52.31 million.
For the six months ended August 20 2009, the company's net profit and revenue grew by 19 per cent to RM25.69 million and RM103.84 million respectively.
