In a heavy week of earnings, the rising liquidity of two U.S. companies show further evidence of continued stress in both the travel & leisure and retail sectors, according to Fitch Solutions in its latest update on Global CDS Spreads/Liquidity Scores for companies scheduled to come out with earnings announcements in the coming week.
While CDS spreads continue to tighten for Carnival Corp., its rising liquidity shows a business that has been adversely affected by the lower demand for luxury cruises brought on by the global economic slowdown and the swine flu outbreak. ...
