Clalit clinics open despite 'strike'

Although the committee representing staffers at 50 Clalit Health Services complementary medicine clinics have said they are not working, management said Tuesday that the facilities were "functioning normally, and 60 percent of the staffers are not striking."
The employees, who practice homeopathy, Feldenkreis, acupuncture, shiatsu and medical massage, are protesting the fact that they get paid per treatment and not a global monthly salary. They are also not given social benefits, the committee said.
