AEP Industries moves into black
SOUTH HACKENSACK AEP Industries Inc., which makes plastic packaging products for consumer and industrial use, said the company posted net income in the fiscal third quarter after selling a Dutch division.
Net income for the three months ended July 31 was $5.4 million or 79 cents a share, compared with a loss of $4.8 million, or 71 cents, from the same period a year ago.
For the nine-month period, the company said net income climbed to $29.1 million or $4.28 a share, from $2.7 million, or 40 cents.
