Talend Unveils Open Source Master Data Management Solution

Talend, a provider of open source data integration software, announced it has acquired all rights to the Master Data Management (MDM) technology of Amalto Technologies.
As a result of this acquisition, Talend said it will be the first company to offer an open source MDM solution, providing organizations with the exact features and benefits found in proprietary MDM solutions, at a fraction of the cost.
