Washington Post columnist David Ignatius has just returned from Pakistan, where he traveled through the mountains along the border with Afghanistan. One stop - the lush Swat Valley rich in peach and apple orchards, an area that was until recently under Taliban control.
I asked him about the gains the Pakistani army has made in driving out extremists there and what commanders are saying about their success.
