Slovak Telekom Taps IBM for 'Green Data Centre'

IBM announced that it has been selected by Slovak Telekom to build a new data centre in Bratislava, Slovakia.

IBM will support Slovak Telekom, a Slovakian telco provider, in ensuring that the new facility benefits from the latest green technologies for power and cooling. IBM reported that the data centre, planned to begin operation in 2011, will enable Slovak Telekom to meet increasing demand for data centre services from technology hosting, through business continuity to disaster recovery.
