Police in two Maine communities said Monday that they are investigating to determine who left threatening phone messages aimed at prominent opponents of same-sex marriage.
Marc Mutty, chairman of the Stand for Marriage Maine campaign, told Yarmouth police Monday morning that a woman had left a threatening message on the campaign office's voice mail.
