ScanSource, a value-added distributor of specialty technologies, including voice, data and video communications products, has entered into a definitive agreement on November 3, to purchase substantially all the assets of Algol Europe, a value-added distributor specializing in convergence and communications solutions.
Algol, headquartered in Cologne, Germany, will begin operating as ScanSource Communications, and will join ScanSource Communications UK as part of ScanSource Communications Europe.
