Yangkou Port to Build 300,000-tonnage Waterway

SHANGHAI, Nov 11, 2009 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) -- The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) just released its industrial planning for the Port of Yangkou on November 10, 2009. Meanwhile, the Shanghai Institute of Waterways (SIW) announced its research result for the port's 300,000-tonnage deepwater waterway with 62 berths, boosting its cargo throughput to 100 million tons by 2020.
