China Power Investment to Exploit Coal-Related Gas

YILI, Nov 12, 2009 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) -- Chinese power operator China Power Investment Corporation (CPI) will pump around CNY 50 billion into two coal-related gas exploitation projects in Yili, Xinjiang, northwest China.

In detail, the company will jointly invest in a natural gas exploitation project with Xinwen Mining Group Co., Ltd., a Chinese coal mining and production company, and exploit the other one dependently in the near three to five years.
