(The Oracle) (U-WIRE) TAMPA, Fla. -- After winning a long, hard-fought first game, the USF volleyball team cruised the next two games to sweep arch-rival Central Florida at home Tuesday night.

In the first game, both teams combined for 22 sideouts before eight points had been scored. The Bulls (9-3, 1-2 in Conference USA) endured three ties and two lead changes before finally pulling away for a 15-9 win.

USF volleyball coach Perri Hankins said she wasn't surprised at how hard the Golden Knights (4-8) played.
